DuGallan Publishing

Refund Policy

Effective date: 12 June 2026

We want every reader to be glad they followed the trail. This policy explains when and how refunds are provided for purchases made on DuGallan.com.

1. Single books and bundles — 14-day guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a single book or bundle purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the book has not been substantially read. Because our books are digital and delivered instantly, this guarantee exists to protect readers who bought in error or found after sampling that a book is not for them — it is not a way to read a book for free.

We assess every request fairly and in good faith, and we reserve the right to decline a refund where there is evidence of abuse — for example, where the content has been substantially or fully consumed, where there is a repeated pattern of purchasing and refunding, or where a bundle is refunded after extensive access to multiple titles. Not sure a series is for you? Read the Prologue — free — before you buy.

2. Subscriptions

You can cancel your Trail Follower (monthly) or Deep Trail (annual) subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Amounts already billed for a period that has begun are not refunded pro-rata. If a renewal was charged in error, or you intended to cancel before renewal, contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge and we will refund it in full.

3. Faulty products and failed delivery

If a purchased Product is defective, inaccessible, or you did not receive access after payment, we will fix the problem or refund you in full — at any time, not limited to the 14-day window.

4. Duplicate purchases

Accidental duplicate purchases are refunded in full upon request.

5. How to request a refund

Email doug@dugallan.com (or phone +27 (0)86 112 2786) with your order reference and the email address used at purchase. We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically reflect within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued through the payment provider that processed your order (identified at checkout and on your receipt). If your order was processed by a provider acting as merchant of record, that provider issues the refund in accordance with this policy — you may contact us directly as above, or the provider’s buyer support, and the refund will be honoured either way.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or any consumer law that applies in your country of residence.
